Block of the moment

I've been trying out new blocks; again something to do, with little commitment.
Here is todays effort, inspired by this...

I like it a lot and it was quicker than I thought it would be.  Probably do some more of these.

On holiday from work now, so there maybe the odd post more than usual, which won't be hard!

So the teacher gifts have been made (can't work out how to put in more than 1 photo with phone blogger sorted).

Thought I'd make an appliqué mug rug for a fun change. Yes, yes, I can put letters on, but only in reverse *sob*
(Can't put any photos on now! done! But not the lettering)
